Live Music Night — The Painkillers

Another evening that’s sure to be great fun and go with a bang.

Live band The Painkillers will join us to party while we all have some booze and vaguely musical shenanigans.

Here’s what I “borrowed” from the band website (shh, don’t tell): “Our overall musical agenda revolves around the influences into & out of 1980s New Wave. Think: The Who & The Kinks and a touch of Rockabilly through to the Undertones & Vapors by way of T Rex & Slade into the Kaiser Chiefs, Green Day and the Fratellis and you get the picture.”

and I reckon it’s going to be good craic. Be there or be square.
